So, what does my morning skin care routine look like? It’s simple, yet effective. Here’s a step-by-step guide: The first step in my routine is to cleanse my skin with a gentle cleanser. I use a fragrance-free, non-comedogenic cleanser that won’t strip my skin of its natural oils. I massage the cleanser onto my skin for about 30 seconds, then rinse with lukewarm water. Step 2: Exfoliate Next, I exfoliate my skin 2-3 times a week using a gentle exfoliating scrub. This helps to remove dead skin cells and unclog pores. Step 3: Toner After exfoliating, I apply a toner to help balance my skin’s pH and tighten pores. I use a rosewater toner that’s soothing and gentle. Step 4: Serum Now it’s time for the serum. I use a vitamin C serum that’s packed with antioxidants and helps to brighten and even out my skin tone. Step 5: Moisturize Finally, I apply a moisturizer that’s rich in emollients and humectants.
