After completing her high school education, Yuna joined the Hitachi Rivale, a professional volleyball team in Japan’s top league, the V.League. Her impressive performance on the court caught the attention of coaches and fans alike, and she soon became a key player for her team.
Growing up in Tokyo, Yuna was introduced to volleyball by her parents, who encouraged her to try out the sport. She quickly fell in love with the game and began playing for her school team. Her natural talent and hard work earned her a spot on the Japanese national youth volleyball team, where she competed in several international tournaments.

She made her debut in the team’s first match of the 2018 FIVB Volleyball Women’s World Championship, where Japan faced off against Argentina. Her impressive performance, including 14 points and 4 blocks, helped Japan secure a 3-0 victory.
